the jaiku app i have in facebook doesn't allow me to comment directly from facebook -- it only lets me see the jaiku feeds of my friends. this is unlike the twitter app.
If you want an app that comments to Jaiku, then yes, this one is pointless. If you want an app that shows your Jaiku status on Facebook and has the ability to push your Jaiku status to your facebook friends, then it's fairly useful.

Probably because there isn't an API for replying directly to Jaiku posts. If there were one, TwitKu would've implemented it. :)

It's easy to implement commenting to Twitter since they don't have threaded conversations. It's just like a post.
